Welcome to Sage Accounts Personnel

We are part of Sage Accounts Solutions, an established business who provide bookkeeping, payroll, financial management and training to a broad cross-section of businesses.

 

We started Sage Accounts Personnel as we became increasingly concerned at the time and money our clients were spending on training and support after the recruitment process.

You are the most important part of the recruitment process.  The accounts and administration job you get will require a variety of additional skills.  From the moment you get in touch we are on hand to help and guide you through the ‘job hunting’ process.

 

We assess your skills, to help you identify your strengths and weaknesses, and offer advice.  We have a comprehensive training program, with various training options, for those who would like to improve their employment prospects.

Sage skills are as individual as the candidate

 

Employing a person, whose skills and experience fall short of your expectations, is disappointing at best and costly at worst.  This scenario happens too often, through no fault of the employee.  They may not realise that their Sage knowledge, whilst excellent, does not cover everything required by their new employer.


The skills required are individual to the job

 

Someone working in the service sector probably has no knowledge of the product, sales and purchase ordering modules; an experienced management accountant may not know how to check the accuracy of the financial data in Sage and extract information; an accounts clerk with office experience will have no experience of using Sage in a hotel and catering environment.


Matching skills to the job

 

We assess the candidate’s skills.  They are given accounts documents and tasks, based on real-life scenarios, which they have to enter to Sage. They are then asked to extract information from the program.  The candidate is only assessed on the modules they have used in the past.

 

This determines the candidate’s ability and identifies their strengths and weaknesses.  Any candidate, who feels their knowledge would benefit from training, is given the opportunity to attend one of our Sage Skills courses.
